Let not Your Heart be Afraid

What happens when an animal begins to act with fear? When there enemy can get them frightened what begins to happen to them? I would like to suggest that the same thing has happened to the American people. We allowed fear of terrorist to take away our freedom of travel. Many are allowing the Elitist Banksters to bring fear to their lives also. Fear of a global warming, fear of a carbon dioxide that the planet needs to survive, fear of not having health insurance, fear of swine flu, and the list of fears that are being fed to us today are paralyzing.

The attitude of many are to give up their freedoms to the government so that the government can control my life. And just like what happens in the animal world when there is fear death occurs, so we see the same scenario being played out in the political arena in people’s lives.

No wonder Jesus said, “Let not your heart be afraid.” He is our Life and Way to the home He has prepared for us. And End Time Youth we need not fear what is about to happen on this earth, but rather we are to live life without fear, because Jesus is coming! He wants us with Him.

Just as God said to Joshua he says to you and me today- Be of good courage!

The Eagle is a stately bird that has depicted America. It is at the top to food chain. I always had thought that fish were its diet until this summer. I learned that smaller birds were prey for the eagle also. I must say that diminished the beauty of the eagle in my eyes. It does not make me feel good to have birds preyed on. That is one of the reasons I am not fond of cats.

Also I learned that the eagle can get confused if the birds that it preys on begins to attack it in mass. We saw that demonstrated this summer in Alaska several times. When a large number of birds would rise into the air and begin to fly at the eagle instead of allowing the eagle to swoop down and catch one of their number.

This past Saturday Evening our congress made a close decision to accept a national health care plan that is one more step in taking away our freedoms. This decision along with all the other government takeover decisions that have been going on this year has created what I see as a step toward major changes in our Country. There is a major opposition that is rising to unseat every politician who has supported the health reform bill. We the people have a responsibility to voice our opinions.

As I have been much in prayer over this matter, I do not feel that it is wise to just do battle - for the language that is being used is that war has been declared. I have become convinced that it is my part to share a pathway of freedom. While I sense that what we have seen happening during this past year are steps leading to the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy of the United States changing from a lamb like beast to a dragon, and that sets up events for the end of this earth's history and Jesus second coming, I have mixed emotions. First of all I want to get involved in the war and clean house of all congress people and senators who are taking America down this road. Then secondly, I want to praise God that I am able to see the final days just before Jesus comes back for us.

Inwardly fighting over these two emotions and praying about what I should do as an American citizen, I personally have decided to send you this email and to share with you what I see as a pathway of freedom that I can personally support and encourage you to share it with others. But then be accepting of the fact that according to Bible Prophecy America probably is not going to accept the pathway of freedom, therefore I will praise God that I will soon be able to be with Him in heaven.

The sight that I would like to share with you is http://www.operationhealthfreedom.com/ . Consider whether you want to share this with your friends, but most of all I plead with you to make sure that you are ready to spend an eternity in the freedom of God's kingdom.

Do not let the fear of the eagle - our government take you prey. But rather rise up and join with others in pointing to the pathway of freedom here or to the pathway of freedom in God's kingdom.

Sea Otters and Greed

The Sea Otter does not have any blubber to keep it warm in the frigid waters off the shores of Alaska. God has given it a coat of fur that has up to 1 million hairs per square inch. It spends much of its time making sure that all of its hairs are well groomed. The quality of its fur became a reason for the greed of fur traders. The Russians who owned Alaska began to kill these beautiful animals so that they would gain financial benefits. One fur was worth about a days wages so that it was a very lucrative business. In just a few years the population of the sea otters went from 200,000 to just a few thousand.

The Russians thought Alaska was not worth that much at that point so they sold out to Alaska for about $0.02 an acre. The Americans were just as greedy and went on to hunt the sea otters and brought their population down to 1700. It is a joy that we came to our senses and have protected the sea otter so that its population is back up to about 170,000.

The greed of mankind can be seen in the house of king Ahab. His neighbor Naboth had a vineyard next to his palace and he wanted the vineyard and offered to purchase it, but Naboth was not interested and so king Ahab went home moping. His wife Jezabel found out the reason for his bad mood and went to work to have Naboth killed and then told Ahab to take the property.

Greed continues to be a problem in our world today. Look at what is happening around the globe as we see financial crisis hit around the world taking the wealth of the middle class and making the wealthy banking industry in a situation that they are able to take what belongs to indivduals as their own. This would be very frustrating if I had not read the final chapter. Jesus is coming again and all that is in this world will be destroyed. And what God has to offer is much more that what the World Banking industry will ever have.

Killdeer Antics

The other day my dog and I were taking a walk and all of a sudden there in front of us was this bird acting like it had a broken wing and it was just putting on a great big fuss. Naturally it did not have a broken wing, but rather a nest that it was trying its very best to protect.

No Jesus did not just put on the act of being hurt to save you and me. He went all the way on the cross so that we could have victory in Him. Just like the eggs could not do any thing that would protect themselves from the dangers of enemies. So it is with us, we can not do anything to protect ourselves from the enemy Satan. But because Jesus went all the way in protecting us, He has given to us the victory that we need to be overcomers.

So if you see a Killdeer acting as though it has a broken wing and you go to see if you can help it and then it flies away a little further and does the same antics all over again, consider what Jesus has done to save you from your enemy Satan and his evil angels. But not only did Jesus die for you, He also promised to surround you with his angels so that you can have the freedom to choose to be in Jesus.

Garden Weeds

This morning I worked in the garden pulling weeds. Yes, it is sort of a tedious job. The garden began to look like a garden again with neatly defined rows of vegetables. But do you know that a lot of those weeds that I pulled up from the garden really were good plants. For instance there were flowering weeds that out in the field would really look pretty. And some of them were grasses, that in the yard or the pasture would look really appealing.

But those weeds are weeds basically because they are growing in the wrong place. At least the wrong place of where I want my garden. The one little spot where I have worked up some earth to plant some vegetables just does not seem right to have the flowers and grasses that could grow anywhere else here in Texas and look good to grow in my garden.

Is that the way it is in my life also. What might be alright for someone else may not be what God has in mind for my life. Am I daily seeking Him first to know what He desires to have my heart look like? If He wants my heart to look like His heart am I willing to let Him do the weeding in my life to change the looks of who I look like? Until next time together allow the Master Gardener to work His miracle in your life.

The Spring Color Story

Here in Texas Spring is really a beautiful time of the year. The blues of the bluebonnets, the reds of the Indian paint brushes, the yellow and red of the Indian blankets, the pinks of the poppies, and the colors and flowers go on and on until you come to the purple of the passion flower.

Passion flower is also known as maypop. It is a woody vine with flowers which reminded early pilgrims of the passion or suffering of Christ. The plant produces small berry-like fruit called granadilla or water lemon John Muir when he tasted the fruit thought that there was none better.. The aerial parts of the plant are gathered during fruiting season and then dried for future processing.

All of the colors of spring teach an important lesson I believe. God gave His Son Jesus to bring the gospel of loving grace to every person. The colors of the flowers speak to us of His love. Have you ever thought of the flowers as being messengers of God's love to you? Why not spend some time today observing the beauty of God's love for you as you see the spring flowers all around you.

Birds out my window

Right now there are three different birds out my window: 1 Mourning dove, 2 Grackle, and 3 House sparrows. The mourning doves are content eating seed that has fallen from the feeder, but are not willing to give up there space or to be pushed about by the more agressive grackles. And then the house sparrows just have fun flitting from branches to feeder or eating on the ground. All three birds represent important spiritual lessons for us. First the mourning dove represents the importance of making use of every spiritual food that God provides. Secondly, the grackle represents the importance of being zealous in the search for spiritual food. And third, we find the faith of a house sparrow that God will take care of it and the joy that it has in that knowledge. Perhaps that is why Jesus directed us to look to the sparrow as a way to let us know that God will take care of us. Especially when we make use of every spiritual opportunity that comes our way and that we are in earnest in our search for food.
